Charles Czeisler, PhD, MD

Dr. Czeisler is the Baldino Professor of Sleep Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Chief of the Division of Sleep Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and the Director of the Harvard Medical School Division of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Czeisler's research focuses on the neuropsychological influences of the human circadian pacemaker. His work has been instrumental in defining how the circadian system is influenced by light, how the circadian system influences sleep, and the public health consequences of sleep loss and shift work
